Reiki Level 2
Reiki Level 2
Reiki Second degree training is given to the students who have been practicing Reiki on a fairly regular basis and who want to advance further on Reiki path. This course gives you a power to create new realities with Reiki symbols. If you are a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner, you need to know the three Reiki Symbols – The Power Symbol, the Mental/Emotional Symbol, and the Long Distance Symbol!
Power Symbol (Cho Ku Rei): This symbol is used to increase or decrease power (depending on the direction in which it is drawn). Its intention is the light switch, representing its ability to illuminate or enlighten spiritually. Its identifying symbol is a coil. Many practitioners use it in the beginning to get a “power boost”, and in the end to seal the healing energies. It provides power to other Reiki symbols when drawn before and/or after them.
Harmony Symbol ( Sei Hei Ki): The Mental/Emotional symbol brings together the “brain and the body”. It helps people to bring to the surface and release the mental/emotional causes of their problems. The symbol resembles a wave washing across a beach or the wing of a bird in flight, and it is drawn with a sweeping gesture. Practitioners often use this intention during treatments for addiction or depression in order to restore the body’s spiritual equilibrium. It may also be used to help people recover from past physical or emotional trauma or to unblock creative energies.
Long Distance Symbol (Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen): The symbol has a general meaning of: “No past, no present, no future” or it can have the meaning of “The Buddha in me contacts the Buddha in you”. It is sometimes called pagoda for the tower-like appearance of the characters when written out. The Distance symbol can, as its name implies, be used to send energies over a distance. It is used for distant healing. You can use it to send Reiki to someone who lives on the other side of the world from you. Time and distance is no problem when using this Reiki symbol. Many practitioners consider Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen as the most useful and powerful symbol. The use of the symbol gives access to the “Akashic Records”, the life records of each soul and can therefore be used in karmic healing.
